Administrative and Human Resources Specialists in the Guard?
Question:
Answer:
Well one thing you have to understand,
The National guard is not like joining the active duty military.
When you go active duty, you can enlist for just about any job field.
Thats not true in the National Guard.
When you join the National Guard, you are joining a particular National Guard Unit.
So you can only enlist for positions they have available.
Which means, for an Officer, if that Guard unit, does not have any officer slots open, you cannot join that National Guard unit as an officer.
You might have to look at a National Guard unit in a close by city to join.
For enlisted enlistments, again, if that Guard unit does not have a certain job on thier manning charts, you cannot enlist for that MOS.
And again, if that Guard Unit has the MOS you want to enlist as, but all the manning slots are filled, you will not be able to enlist for that MOS.
==============================...
They best thing you can do if you want to join the National Guard, is go to that guard unit and talk to their recruitment NCO.
He will know exactly what positions are open in that unit.
IE:
You cannot enlist as a tank crewman in a NG supply company.
