Question on Harddrives - Is there a software I can use that can give me the speed of the harddrive?

Question: I mean give me a software you have used that actually did some test on the harddrive and gave you back the speed.

e.g. After it did the test it said you have
Capacity = 80GB
The speed = 7200rpm

Please is there and software that can do this?

whats easier:

get the model number and look it up on the manufacturer's website. if its not on their website just google the model number and you will likely find the specs on an old vendor page or something of the sort.
