A tough question: OLD Anatomy software for DOS?
Question:
From what I can remember, I'd say it was similar to what ADAM was a few years after(Probably much more basic, though... I was a middle school kid, after all)
I remember the program was called something with Body(I think it wasn't BodyWorks but I might be wrong)
I think the version number was 2 or 3...
Now the actual question: Does anybody know the actual name/version, the publishing company and if it's still available somewhere today? (I am mostly interested in that feature of being able to compete against other people in identifying body parts, if you know a newer application that does this, it's also welcome)
Answer:
I suggest you get the newer versions like:
1. BodyWorks 6.0 - NEWEST 3-D MODELED Human Anatomy
2. DK Ultimate Human Body 2.0 Anatomy Learning CD Win
BUT, you may be referring to -
Bodyworks 3.0 ($16.00)
An Adventure in Anatomy
PC CD-Rom for Windows 3.1 (is this OLD enough for you)
Study the human body from the inside out
Get to know your own body with this fascinating software, which features video clips, animation and illustrations.
Colorful graphics guide students through the body, a database lets students examine internal systems, and magnified views and cutaways reveal intricate cell structures. In addition, lesson plans and quizzes help supplement CD-ROM activities.
i don't think you can even find a DOS program anymore. i'm gonna flag this question because if you get an answer, i'd like to have that software as well. good luck in your search.
