Can I get a job as a Human Resource Administrator with a BA in psychology??

Question:
Any suggestion's would be great. Also what does a Human Resource Administrator do?? How much do they get paid? Where can I find jobs as a Human Resource Administrator??

Answer:
I don't see why not. Currently many HR employees and staff hold different degrees from Engineering to legal. From my experience, it has to do more with what you want to do rather than what you have studied.
I have a degree in Human Resources but have reported and worked with profesionals of all different kinds.
Now with a degree in psycology you are probably better prepared to work on the soft hr tasks. Recruiting, training, etc.
Human resources administrator is normally is a generalist function that covers administrative HR tasks. JD and target salary on link below.
Careerbuilder.com, Monster.com, and other similar sites are packed with job offerings.

Read about about HR more and evaluate if it is something you really want to get into. I started in HR by chance 12 years ago and haven't regretted a second of it. But that's me.
Why do you want this job if you dont even know what it is?? Human Resource Administrator is probably related more to Business Management than psychology...
i dont see why not. they are responsible for the employee morale, complaints ect. most large companies have them. they are a buffer between employees and management. i woudnt do it no matter how much it paid.
