I'm having problem connecting to the Internet it gives me a no server found message.?
Question:
Answer:
What are the lights doing on the cable modem?
Do you have a router? If so, are all of the computers down or just one of them?
Do you use ethernet, USB, or wireless to connect to the modem or router?
What operating system do you use?
What browser are you using?
It would be easier to help you with a little more information.
For the record, you don't need software to connect to cable internet the way you sometimes need it for dial-up or DSL, so I doubt it's a software problem.

What IP address are you getting? You can check it by going to start and then run and then typing in 'cmd.' Once you're there type ipconfig and press enter. The address should be in there somewhere.
Also I'm still a little unclear - do you have a wireless modem/router combination which you're trying to wirelessly connect to, a wireless modem/router combination which you are plugging into with an ethernet cable, or just a modem? :)

So what IP address are you getting? The wireless connection between your computer and your router/modem seems to be good if the wireless connection is strong, but the modem may not be connecting to your ISP properly. Try opening up internet explorer and typing in 192.168.100.1 - this may bring up an internal diagnostics page for your modem/router. Look around in there and see if it shows you what IP address it is receiving from your ISP. If you're getting something that starts with 169 you may want to give them a call, as that indicates their DHCP server may be having an issue (it's no longer assigning a valid IP address to your modem).
Did you get the modem/router from the ISP or did you buy it yourself? If you got it from them they may be able to walk you through checking the diagnostics (they're different with every router and modem so I can't tell you where exactly to look).
This makes no sense. Why are you on the internet now, then?
Press ALT + CTRL + DELETE ; from there go to processes and delte all unwanted user programs. It might work then.
Alternativley go to your internet browser > tools > internet settings and restore everything to DEFAULT.
That just happend to me the best thing to do is to contact your internet provider and they will walk you through the steps and it wil be fixed very asily it is probably just something that isnt completely hooked up right! just contact your interenet provider an no problem! hope my advice is usefull!
if your using a laptop make sure your wireless switch is turned on. if not you should first try restarting your computer. if that doesn't work and you have multiple computers in your house go to the network and sharing center, and ask it to find a solution, then the best possible choice i to change the ip (the computer will do it for you). Last hope is to do a system restore. i hope i helped
Try these two commands.
1) Go to START> RUN> CMD> IPCONFIG /RELEASE
2) With the command line windows still open type..
IPCONFIG FlushDNS
