hi all. I just bought a 1300K USB 2.0 PC camera.. (this means nothing to me, its just wats written on the box). I have installed the software that came with the computer. I have tested the cam via yahoo messenger and windows xp troubleshoot and both say that the device is working properly. A window comes up and i can see myself but no-one else can... on their screen it says waiting for "me" to accept but im not getting anything... ive tried changing the proxy's(i heard that off someone else) and it didnt work. I dont know wat to do and im really starting to get annoyed. I know it is just something small but i cant figure out wat it is.PLEASE HELP ME!
Hi, there. probably you just need to "tell" your software to use that camera you have installed... You can usually find that under "preferences" menu in your Instant Messaging program... For example, if you are using Yahoo Messenger, try menu "messenger", then "Preferences", then "Web cam"... and there you can set who can view you, or choose the web cam...
If you are using MSN Messenger, there is an option named "Webcam Settings" in the "Tools" menu (maybe you'll have to maximize MSN Messenger window to show all menus...
