Anybody have a coworker they JUST CAN'T STAND? How do you handle it?
Question:
What can I do to co-exist in peace with this monster? Even better, what can I do to get rid of her? LOL.
Answer:
The best thing that you can do is to always make sure you handle your own business. Make sure your job performance is top notch. If her job performance hurts the company, then it is up to you to decide whether or not you want to say something about it. And once you decide to say something, make sure you keep going until you are HEARD. No employer likes to deal with a person who is going to ultimately impact their business negatively. As long as your work is stellar, anyone you go to should trust that you are doing so out of concern for the COMPANY. Never make it a personal battle. Always explain what he/she is doing that will cause harm to the COMPANY. They will take more notice and should also appreciate that a CONCERNED employee is looking out for the best interest of ALL involved with the company! YOu have to make your concerns heard. If she doesn't work with you directly, ignore her. If her work impacts yours, let your supervisor know and ask for someone different. They will get the picture eventually.
well u can just ignore her...basically or be straightforward and be like i don't appreciate the way she acts and to tell her to stay away from u...other than that u can't really do much...
in the end, she'll be the one with the problems as blv me no one'll really like her!
I mean there's this guy at work that i can't stand either and i just tell him to buzz off n show him i ain't gonna take his crap!
The key thing to do is to exclude her from all that you do while you are at work. Monosyllabic replies to questions and never looking her in the eyes should work great. She probably on some unconcious level likes to irk you. Once you move past that by ignoring her, the thrill will be gone, and she should begin to gradually leave you alone, unless she has something personal against you.
It sounds to me that you have a lying, backstabbing cheater on your hands... Well, there is always one anywhere you work so the best way to deal with her is..."kill them with kindness". She'll HATE that she doesn't get to you and everyone gets what they have coming to them... You do the best you can do at your job and don't let her cloud your day...IT'S NOT WORTH IT...in the end.you'll be the winner and believe me a good supervisor knows where the loose screws are! Just because they don't say so doesn't mean they don't know!
Make her some chocolate chip cookies with chocolate laxatives and you'll have peace for a day.

I would take her aside in a private area and lay down the law, tell her exactly how you see her. Maybe she does not exactly realize she's a loser! maybe she needs a wake up call! Make sure there are no witnesses and then she can't go crying to HR, she will have no proof, and after a while they are going to get tired of her crying wolf all the time anyway and she will get fired.
I simply ignore them totally, Voice Mail them, Don't socialise with them acknowledge any greetings cards, if you do then that makes them think you like them and encourage them more. Keep it up long enough and they will get the message
