You can get your 6 sigma through your company, contact your local Quality Society, there are hundreds of consultants/Trainers out there qualified and looking for your money, technical Magazines are a good source for some information and do use the Internet.
Most people who are Six Sigma certified got it though their complany. The company usually adopt the Six Sigma program, and a Six Sigma subcontractor (who is usually a Black Belt) comes in and gets the program up and running. Maybe you should look for a job that has a Six Sigma program (like GE) or if you already have a manufacturing job in a company that does not have 6s, maybe you should suggest it to the CEO or owner.
