Any professional degree in any social area such as law, administration, public relations, etcetera.
There are also trainee programs that companies have which will give you curricular experience and maybe even a job.
most places u need at least a bacholers (4 years) but normally a masters(6years) degree, it is very hard to get into that feild without a degree, sometimes u can get a assistants job for some companies, and its good training whiel your getteing paid, but unless u get the degree you will never move up
First, HR won't hire you if you continue to communicate in abbreviations.
Second, many fine colleges/universities offer human resource degrees as part of their curriculum. The degree can be earned on-line or via traditional courses. Either avenue will cost you about three years (quick mode) or four years (regular mode). Although some schools allow you to earn it as quickly as two years (shop around for these schools).
BTW: HR managers earn a fair wage but it's not a great wage (usually between $35K and $120K) but there may be exceptions and some may earn more than $120K.

I earned a Bachelors In BUsiness Administration and went on to obtain my Masters in Human Resources Manangent. I am currently employed as a HR Director. Although obatianing a degree in HR Management is not always required you can get anything from a Associates Degree in Business Administration or you can obtain a Bachelors in Business Administration, Organizational Studies, or Human Resources Management these all can be the key to a career in the Human Resources Field.
The positions within the field include but are not limited to HR Director, Training and or Recruitment which consist of all the aspects of a personnel and or HR Department there is also the HR Coordinator who once the potential new hire has been recruited this person would do the in-take process employment verifications, set-up drug screen, obtain background checks and maintain the employees files which includes keeping address and phone numbers up to date, along with insurance and retirement information. These duties can be divided amongst two or more employees it just varies depending on the person and just how much it is that they can handle.

Most employers want a bachelors even for entry level. Check out your local schools or online schools (make sure they're legit) for courses relating to HR.
Alternatively you could try recruiting or entry level social services relating to HR as a launch pad if going back to school isn't an option.
I started as a volunteer with a non-profit in their welfare to work program. A few months in they hired me officially (low pay but good experience). After about a yr I went to work for a recruiting firm. The 1 yr i worked there was like sales /HR boot camp. It was very high paced and somewhat stressful but learned a lot and after that went on to job i really liked.
I did have a BA (which i'm sure helped) but it was in nothing at all relevant to HR
