NO PAYSLIP UNTIL,3 WKS AFTER PAYMENT IF I AM LUCKY IF NOT 2 MONTH'S DOWN THE LINE. I HAVE RAISED THIS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WITH MANAGEMENT WHOM SEEM LESS INTERSTED.
i WENT OFF ON SICK LEAVE ON 2 OCCASIONS DUE TO STRESS IN THE WORKPLACE, NOONE SEEMS TO BE INTERESTED OR WANTS TO KNOW. WHERE DO I STAND!! I HAVE NEVER HAD OR RECIEVED A CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT FROM START OF EMPLOYMENT ON FULL TIME HR'S NOR CHANGE OF CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT FROM FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT TO REDUCED HR'S (OR FORMAL WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM MY USELESS MANAGER
Answer:
The second yu took up employment with them you entered into a contract. They are legally obliged to provide you with a copy of this contract although this can sometimes take the form of a letter confirming your appointment providing it contains all the necessary information.
However it seems that you have several issues with this company and it sounds like they're either breaking the law, breaking you, or both.
Phone ACAS they give free impartial advice, or see a solicitor and find out where you stand, be prepared to though to leave or lose you job, If either happens there is always tribunal and if half of what you say is true they'll whip their ***.
~I took a lot of this in my last job and I got too sick to carry on...it's not right.
Go to Citizens Advice Bureau - they will have all the up to date employment laws on hand
There are too many unanswered questions for me to answer this. Where is your place of employment? In the United States, in most states you have no right to an employment contract and are considered an employee at will who may be terminated at any time unless you are subject to discrimination such as age discrimination, etc.
As for the lack of documentation of paychecks, there would be certain requirements vis-a-vis receiving documentation of earnings, taxes withheld, etc.
If you went on sick leave, you might qualify under the Family Medical Leave Act and may have protection from being reduced in hours or effectively demoted, etc. in retaliation for taking a medical leave, if you meet the legal criteria.
Again, this might all be different if you are working in a different country.
