Can I get a good job after the army?
Question:
Answer:
I would re-up if single, and let the Army continue paying for your continued education to get a bachelors, maybe even to master's level degree. The additional years experience will simply add to your value.
Of course - if you do that - get your degree, then you can go for officer's school, and start seeking management and supervisor roles as an officer - which will look VERY good on a resume.
However - if married - wife may not be willing to stay in the Army - a shame - and yes - you could find employment depending on where you are looking and the available market.
Thanks for serving man

hi there well first I say thank you for saving our country in these hard times. you sound like a very smart person it should not be hard for you to get a job not at all. try cable company or hospitals seems you can do anything .
be well be safe god bless
hell yeah you could get a good job you have a lot of experience your pretty much a master thanks for serving our country good luck
Yes, I did. :-)
Stick with finishing up your college, and get your certs. If you plan on going into the IT field/PC work, your deployments and rank will not have a ton of weight, so focus on what the civilian workforce will be looking for, which is experience, education, and certs.
If I owned a business, you'd be at the top of my list. With your knowledge and experience, you should have no trouble getting a good job. Just be sure and include on your resume that you are a Vetran. I don't know about your part of the USA but in my part, that moves you up to the front of the line.
Thank you for serving our country. My brother was killed in Iraq in July, 2006. Gosh! I miss him and it hurts so bad. My son-in-law is training troops near Baghdad now, my nephew was in Iraq but got both feet crushed and was discharged, and another family member will be going to Iraq in October. {{hugs for you}}. Stay safe and hurry home.
