My boss really sucks.?

Question:
This guy is such an ***. He favors people who slack off all day and come in late and has never thanked me for anything in 2 1/2 years. ( I'm not conceited but will say I'm a good employee who has never been in trouble, always on time ,ect.) He's forever trying to screw other mgrs. over that don't deserve it and he blames other employees for mistakes he's made. He is so fake and dosen't care about anyone but himself. Any suggestions as to what to do about this? I can't afford to lose my job at all but am worried I'm going to punch this *** in the face soon if something dosen't give. I'm afraid to go to Human Resources for fear of losing my job...

Answer:
There is nothing that you can do to change another person. You can only change yourself and your reactions to others. Do not go anywhere near Human Resources unless you want to find yourself on the unemployment line. Consider looking for another job in a better environment. It is often the case that those who do next to nothing all day but who know how to network will succeed. Be grateful that you are not being subjected to workplace harassment. If you complain you just might have to add this to your problems. It is a battle that cannot be won (only within yourself). Identify your needs (?honesty, proper reward for hard work and dedication?), stay true to those needs and start to search for a better work environment. Good luck to you.
get another job.
Just ignore him - think that he does not exist - persona non grata - you will start enjoying the game

Since you need the job, it is better to learn to live with these irritations
i wonder why he suck hhahahhaahahahaahha wut kinda jon is thiz?
tell him how you feel maybe he had a hard child hood give him a break maybe he hates his job and his boss
You have to decide if his lousy behavior is worth the pain he is causing you. He sounds like a loser. I blew the whistle on an employee once - and they blew me off - until she pissed someone off in the corp office... then suddenly they wanted all the dirt I had on her. If you are miserable go to HR. You sound like you might quit if something doesn't change.
I would start looking for another job. It is always easier to find another job when you are employed, because your are not under certain stressors.

Try not to give him any reason to focus on you. Keep going to work, do your job, and do it the best that you can, until you find another job. Once you find that job and give your two weeks notice there is nothing they can do.
leave the job, but tru to get another one first. there is a lot of job for you, if u just try.wish u good luck.
