How has the indutrial revolution impacted human natural resources?

Question:

Answer:
As we use resources, some don't come back as fast as we take them out.
Most metals are not actively forming in the crust. Though there may be lava that can bring some new veins to the surface, it'll be some time before those areas will be cleared 'safe' to work in.
Fossil fuels also have a limited supply. It is very possible to run out. There is much discussion as to when (either in 50 years or several hundred).
The industrial revolution has prompted man to search more for natural resources. It has greatly hasten the search, development, extraction and exploitation of these natural resources. Most of these natural resources are non-renewable and hence, may be exhausted in the long run.
