What are deliverables in project management ?

Question:
i need a couple of lines of what it mean to have deliverables in a project.

Answer:
The deliverables are the objectives or goals of the project.

You undertake a project to accomplish something. When that something is completed it can be referred to as a deliverable.

The deliverable can be a product or service.
Any tangible outcome that is produced by the project. These can be documents, plans, computer systems, buildings, aircraft, etc. Internal deliverables are produced as a consequence of executing the project, and are usually only needed by the project team. External deliverables are those that are created for customers and stakeholders.
