Best sites for Test Practice & Assessement for SAT, GRE, GMAT etc. (free and paid)?
Question:
Thanks
Answer:
When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from TutorFox: http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html... and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
Hiyas!
To be very honest with you, I went insane when I was trying to pass my praxis tests and the MAT. I looked at the practice tests ETS offers, but they weren't very helpful to me. The best help I got was going to a bookstore like hastings or books-a-million and getting a review book there. At least I could look through it before purchase to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting and see how they were going to help me.
There is one series that says on the cover that they guarantee for a higher score or money back. I passed my test with that series.
Since you asked about sites, I will limit my response to the internet, though the previous poster is right that there are many good books. First of all, ETS (the company that makes the GRE) has a program that you can download with two real practice tests. These tests are just like the real thing, because they once were the real thing, and they can give you a very close estimate of what your score will be. I found this very helpful in preparing because I knew what to expect and where I stood.
As for actual practice, the best I have found is number2.com. They have a ton of good practice exercises and they keep track of your progress so you know if you are getting where you need to be. Best of all, last I checked, it is free!
I hope that helps
I would say PrincetonReview and tutorfox
