Human resource question?


Question:
when you are applying for a job and the company you are applying to, calls up your previous employers, (human resources)what is the information they ask or look for? and is it true, all they are supposed to give out, is to verify your employment??
I think they are only supposed to verify how long you worked there and what kind of an employee you were.
yes the can ive out any information did you ask them to call past employment
