Windows xp Problem plz help me!!?
Question:
Know i ought a new windows xp CD and i'm not able to install it the screen comes up saying that it will take 39 minutes to install but then ask for windows xp disk and when i enter the disk it says fatal error as it is reading the disk i've tried the disk on my other computer and it works ! so what can i do can uninstall the half installed version even though im not able to acces my area in normal and safemode?

Hello ,I recommend you to install a new copy of windows xp ,first of all you should insert the cd of windows xp in your cdrom and regulate your setup to start your computer that first read the cd rom :
1.insert the cd of windows xp in your cdrom
2. reboot your computer ,press del key to enter the setup
3.choose the cdrom as the first device for reading when the computer boots
4.continue installing

Press F8 every second or so when booting your computer (before the WinXP loading screen appears) and select SAFE MODE. When you boot up to safe mode you then have access to login as ADMINISTRATOR.

basically if your not getting the option to "press any key to boot from cd"then you will probably be better off formatting the hard drive with a DOS based program to rid yourself of any previous installations of windows and then starting your install from fresh.also check that you are deleting and recreating new partitions when prompted at the beginning of the install especially if your using more than one hard-drive..good luck..
You may need to take (and understand) some remedial communication courses first, before you attempt trying to configure a highly technical communication device like a computer system...
