See, if you learn any new language/technology, companies may not hire you still because you have no relevant experience in those languages/technology. They may hire you as a FRESH candidate having knowledge but no experience. So you will have to compromise with salary.
The best option that I can see as of now is that you look at something that you can do in your present company. You have experience as Data analyst. Look for career options that will utilize your present knowledge and give you a chance to learn something latest also.
Ask your company to start involving you in some more technical tasks and to start giving you more responsibility. Initially you may feel that you are not getting enough response from company. But you don't stop pushing. Slowly they will realise that you are an initiator and interested in doing something new.
If you start afresh in any field, it will take you atleast 1 year to start getting good salary. So act wisely!

Intel servers are rapidly taking over from Unix servers. IBM mainframes are still alive but for how long?
I think the Intel server and network mngmnt stuff will win out.
Not PC's.. the core business systems and web server mngmnt arena.
continue till u gain the knowledge...if chance arrive 2 shift 2 anothe company.the basic salarey is gud....
