I need to know the amount of power being drawn from my power supply?

Question:
I have new hardware and I'd like to avoid having to buy a new one, so I want to know how much draw the parts take, I'll test them individually of course before putting it all together. I just want to know if there is software I can download that measures it

Answer:
i havn't heard of any, however you can look at the specs for all your hard ware and determine the amount. just remember that every size power supply has individual rates per voltage IE +5volt,-5volt, +12volt, -12volts. your power supply will tell you this on the sticker itself. a 350 or 400watt supply is plenty for gaming which usally has the most usage for a system.
try this site. It's a power supply calculator.
