Once I am online & on a site for a job & want to e-mail whoever they have highlighted(superv/human resources,?

Question:
etc.) I fill in the info required from their site, but I can't 'send' it. A error comes up telling me to choose my server, eg "pop 3", etc. I don't understand that 'stuff' so I don't know what to do, so I haven't been able to respond to their site from either yahoo or roadrunner. I have windows vista,,,help!

Answer:
A job-hunting tip: Don't use e-mail unless there is no other way to contact them.

Pick up the phone, set an interview, and see them in person.

Employers tend to pick the more aggressive job hunters, and many of the personnel managers don't look at applications that come on-line for days or even weeks.

Not only that, but you have a GREAT reason to call this company now. You can mention to the personnel manager the experiance you had trying to email them. They may be interested to know that it is difficult to email them.

Good luck.
