Can someone explain the difference if any between Six Sigma and JIT and TQM?

Question:
Is JIT a part of Six sigma , is that a part of TQM...I keep reading about them separately but they strike me as very similiar...all go for measurement, efficiency waste reduction customer satisfaction etc...

Answer:
Six Sigma is to reduce and eliminate defects to cut down on waste, more geared toward manufacturing
JIT is a strategy for reducing inventory to cut down on waste
TQM is geared toward customer satisfaction.
The goals are basically the same (save money) but each has a slightly different application.
