LCD on Inspiron 6000 not working?

Question:

The LCD on my laptop doesn't come on when I start the computer. The computer works because I can attach it to a mointor. I ran a PSA test and received the following message:
Graphics Test
Test Results Fail
Error Code 1000-0333
Do I have a hardware or software problem and how do I fix it?
Please help

3-3-3 / 1000-0333 means Graphics test timed out waiting for keyboard response.

It is a failed LCD. If you can get an image when you attach your laptop to an external monitor, then your LCD needs replacing.

If you can't see an image at all, even a dim one, I'd guess that you would need a new LCD screen.
