Question:
i have downloaded a software called "vcdcut pro v4.16.8'...this is the latest version & it has been made for win xp...but when i tried to install it a message appeared that read something like "this software didn't pass windows logo testing...installing this software on your pc may permanently damage your pc"...should i still install this software?i m using win xp sp2...pls suggest...

That basically means that Microsoft has not tested the software, although it doesn't necessarily mean the software is unsafe. In fact, this site (that I just found through yahoo.com) claims to have tested it and found it safe.
I've installed several programs that display that warning with (knock on wood) no adverse impact so far. Just keep your virus check up to date!
