Question:
WE HAVE AN IRON CLAD CASE AGAINST A BIG COMPANY, a few attorneys want to go forward with it but i want to know if i should go through the eeoc first, i have already filed foia's for personnel files from human resources.the compant has also slandered my fiances name to other companies, which we have a paper trail of and written confirmation of what was said, which is defamation of character, help
Answer:
You can check with eeoc.gov and with your local EEOC office. However, if you have an attorney that is willing to take your case, you are probably better off to let the attorney take the case on a contingency basis, as they know all the forms and details.
This is not an easy process to do on your own.
no idea. you never gave details. why are we to believe what you say? if you have to ask here then you must have doubts. i'm so tired of frivolous lawsuits.
At firstgov.gov they lots of listings for EEOC. Check it out:
http://firstgovsearch.gov/search?v%3apro...
http://www.eeoc.gov/
If you already retained attorneys, they will do everything for you, including filing the EEOC complaint.
