Psychology to Human Resource Manager?

Question:
I am currently a psych major, and I heard that some psych majors go into HR management. My question is, if I were to change my major over to HR management (and since the school I attend does not have a HR management degree) what classes would I have to take, and would I have to switch over to Business Management/Administration OR could I keep working on my psych degree and try and get the HR job through my psych degree?

Also does anyone know the starting salary or median average salary for a HR manager??

Answer:
HR managers make really good money. I would probably suggest taking a minor in Business Management, that way you can have some business background with a psych degree. A minor is about 15 hours so try to squeeze some in during the summer sessions. That's the easiest way to do that.
