Hired for the job: completed all the pre-employment stuff: why haven't I heard from them?

Question:
It's been a week since I finished all my pre-employment requirements (finger-print card, CPR certification, past employment info, TB tests and letters of recommendation). Why would the department director or Human Resources not contact me regarding my start date? Do I have the job or what?
You need to contact the HR department and ask them, not us.
