Question:
We were told "Those aged over 45 cannot go onboard the at-sea platform".
Now I see that people up to age 48 are being recruited for the same platform.
Am wondering if the figure 45 was bona fide.
Coincidence that I was turning 45 just when the fgure 45 was introduced, and modified software, that may have been rogue software, was being trialled at sea.
Best guess is that I would have noticed immediately from the visual displays, if there was a bug in the system. Therefore I was kept well away.
Perhaps someone doctored the system, perhaps unintentionally, and subsequently covered-up.
Don't know how to force a proper checkout of the system.

Talk to an employment lawyer. you might have been discriminated against.
