I couldnt understand what is software testing and how do people fix bugs in real time??
Question:
Answer:
When I started working at the Network Test Lab in HP in '86 every engineer was handed a copy of "System Testing and Quality Assurance". I still believe that to be a great book for system testing - though it's hard to find.
Also good from Boris Beizer are:
"Black Box Testing"
"Software Testing Techniques"
Here's a whole list of associations, luminaries, tools etc:

As for fixing bugs in real-time I'd want to know more about what you're looking for. If you mean "real business time" e.g. "as fast as possible" then you will find your answers in studying some of the materials in the links provided. There is a lot to learn to answer that question well.
ask d students studying in anna univ.. especially final yr cse studs
Software testing consists of unit testing and system testing. Basically, you can test what one person has developed vs. a team effort for larger products. I would start by looking at the testing software vendors' sites (such as "mercury interactive").
