Question:
Some mail will go to a new and yet unknown corporate system, some to Yahoo Mail. However, most emails are project management communications from completed projects that I need as an offline reference for new projects. My plan now is to create a GroupWise archive file and hope that other email software can read/import the file (emails and folders).
Answer:
It is better to print emails and put them in a 3-ring binder.
Due to legal issues, most companies do not want electronic trails stored forever.
Can't you simply keep your .pst files form your previous Outlook archives running on your system and have Groupwise running as well? Why worry aobut export import ect... I may suggest archiving your old email to an external storage device and backup to CD as well.
