Project Management + Concept Phase?

Question:
Has anyone heard of the following term in Project Management -
"Process for eliminating schemes" - within the concept pahse?

Answer:
You should *never* hear any kind of restrictive or negative talk during the brainstorming part of a concept phase. When you are eliminating options, you can do a feasibility analysis to start to whittle down the options. "process for eliminating schemes" sounds like a joke someone is playing on you. Like one of your ideas/former projects was some knd of scheme...especially if they eliminated your idea directly soon there after. or maybe they are trying to add some levity to the situation with a general joke.
The answer is complicated. You may need to consult your dog and check whether it's paws are greasy.
