In recent years we have observed an increase in foreign investment in the United States. What effect are joint ventures, such as General Motors-Toyota, likely to have on human resource management in the United States?
Answer:
Human resources will have to be up to date on diversity amongst the workforce. The Human Resources department will have to expand it's knowledge on the many different cultures and values to better accommodate it's employees, whether it's United States citizens going to work abroad or foreigners coming to work here in the US.
