Im applying for HR (Human Resources) department supervisor for a baby retail store. I really think that I can do the job but I dont have supervisor experience how can I prove to the store manager that I am able to be a leader? Also what are some creative ideas to bring to the table...I have a few but I really would like for them to know I really want this position.

if you are applying for HR position, concentrate on qualities and skills that are needed for HR. Say that you understand the confidentiality of HR department. say that you will be able to manage employees and have them come to you with any issues that arise and it will only be between you and them. if you took classes/courses in HR/Management, talk about them.
other responsible things you've done in past jobs, or even outside interests where you ran or organized things
