Huge. It will never stop growing. Think of it this way, everytime they develop a advanced chip 64 bit 128 256 etc, software has to be rewritten in that architecture. Therefore for software to be compatible with other software, network applications and other devices software testing is mandatory for the the market. With all new products being created and upgraded the world will not tolerate incompatibility, hardware crashing etc. Job security!
