s/w testing is one of the growing domains whch is creating lots of opportunities especially in india.As for as i kno there will be huge demand for testing engineers in the near future,coz the aspect of testing is very crucial and iterative in the life cycle of any project.But gowtam, the only disadvantage is that u'll be in routine work all the time and there is little scope for technical development. It's okay if u work for quite some time in testing and quit so that u can concentrate more on development.
