I have done m.b.a in marketing & human resources from INDIA,i am at present trying for a good job in U.S. I have no idea what job will i get here with my degree,i am ready to do any extra course/study to get a good job here, can anyone give a honest reply as to what should i study & what kind of jobs to apply for..? I would like to add that i am at present on a dependent visa, so i cannot work immediately,can u also tell me what to do to make myself elgible for work, should i change my visa status to something else, i dont know..pls help...
Answer:
You can't just "become eligible for work," if you could, everyone would do it.
In some cases you have to find a company to sponsor you, they can legally only do this if they didn't have any suitable American applicants. The question that they'll ask you is "what can you offer that no American can?"
Your best chance will be to apply to companies that have offices or something in India.
Are you also planning to apply for citizenship?
