4 speakers, only 2 output?

Question:

I bought an audigy card, and I plugged my headphones into Line 1 and they work, then I plugged my speakers into line 2, and set the profile to 4.1 sound, and in the audigy software, the test says, front left, front right, rear right, rear front"

the fronts are my headphones, the rears my speakers, perfect!! - except it doesn't work anywhjere outside the program??

not in winamp, or Windows Media Player, or Oblivion, what's the deal??

try setting them to 2.1 selections..

Check out the options.it should give you more routing options.

the problem might be ur configuration settings. since 4.1 channel speakers distribute the sound according to their frequency to their respective speakers, i doudbt that the speakers should works without the headphones plugged in. if u have 4.1 channel speaker plug in that or u can enjoy personally using ur head phones
