Why do HUMAN RESOURCE Depts. choose FEMALES to be in charge of the H.R.?
Question:
Answer:
Along with the skills that you will tell them about that will be useful in HR.show your warmth and the ability to relate with people. Being attractive is good. I don't believe that's a hindrance in interviews. It actually elevates you and helps you be seen in a more positive light. Just create a good rapport with them without seeming artificial. Be genuinely nice, and competant. In the end, if they don't keep you, don't take it personally. Somethings aren't in our control. The company meant to have you will have you, and believe me, it will come along sooner than you think.
Just tone yourself down some when you interview. You can't help it that you are attractive. Don't worry about it. Maybe get some glasses w/no prescription in them to wear, to look more "intelligent" and will soften your looks some.
If it were me I'd give the angle that I try to be fair and keep to what makes sense. Even give it the guy angle, like, to say, I am a guy and what is simple and make sense, definitely speaks to me. Therefore, I feel I'd be best for this field/position.
If they won't consider you or give you BS cause of your looks then they're nothing better than someone who sexually harasses in a way, it's bs.
Interviewers ALWAYS dig for faults. My college interviewers asked me if I had ever been yelled at by a person of authority. (I haven't.) Your looks have nothing to do with working ability. Even the dimmest of HR managers know that.
It does not happen this way. Have confidence. Go for a mock interview with a HR consultant. That would help.
Yeah even I have obsereved this generally females get into HR.
