What is wrong with my PC shutdown ? ...need urgent advice...?
Question:
when I reboot my desktop it went into checkdisk everytime
before the appearence of the normal screen ,was and is
because there is some thing not right with my hard drive ?... or could it be the result of some virus/worm
or spyware causing it ?.
Can someone care to share how I can rectify my problem if
above 2 resaons are true?...or if there are any other reasons
and solution to it?.
Need help.

Ussally it scans your disk if you shut it down wrong. Like just pushing the button. That you dont want to do. When shuting down go to start shut down. The is the correct way to shut down. If you are doing that then it might be something wrong. I would download some ad ware/spyware stuff. Also have you ran your ativirus. I would download spyware like ad-ware se personal. That is a good one to download. Spybot is a good one. Download those and run them and see if that gets rid of some stuff. Hope that helps.
Go to the system restore in your control panel and restore the computer to the most recent date that it was working properly.
You can turn this off from check disk thing at C:\ > Properties .. but i think that happens because of corrupted files on your computer i think you should try to get a Fresh copy of windows from the original cd which will be a faster one because i think your pc maybe full of worms ,, Good luck
you should try scanning your computer for spyware and viruses. if that doesn't help, try doing a system restore to the last date when your computer worked fine. if it still doesn't help, it may be a hard drive issue and then you will have to call your computer manufacturer or take it to a repair shop and get a new hard drive.
You can try installing AdAwareSE or SpyBot and running scans.
If you already have these programs, make sure the definitions are up to date.
Also you need a good antivirus software (mcaffe or norton) and make sure you update your definitions at the VERY LEAST weekly, I do it daily.
