What does TCPIP.sys error mean? And when would you get a error like Driver IRQL_not_less_or_Equal?

Question:

I have this blue screen pop up with a message saying uninstall a recently installed program or check for disk space. It also says tht the driver IRQL is not less or equal. why do I get such a message. I have recently installed a modem and shared the connection to all users from the modem. Do you think reinstalling the modem drivers would help. Or do I need to install a windows update? Another dumb thing that sometimes occurs is the whole screen goes blank, black out while the machine is still on. And users on the network lose connection. This is a windows server 2003 platform pc.
Add info:
Error appears on Server.
Connection from hub distributed to client nodes.
Cross Cable from Hub taken to Wireless Modem for connection & distribution.
Def Gateway - 192.168.1.1 (from modem i.e.)
Server - 192.168.1.100
Client machines - 192.168.1.101 - 150
If the modem is switched off, network conx is lost.

Answer:
Try to install the Service Pack.
And try to reset your tcp it.

I never encountered this problem before, but my instincts tell me that your TCP/IP stack is corrupted, especially since you're talking about sys files and an error in your IRQ table. Being that is a major part of the operating system, I suggest re-installing Windows Server 2003. It's a ***** but I think this is the only way to get out of this mess.
