Are there any really good reader-friendly sites or other sources to find out cool computer tech information?

Question: Two years ago TechTV 'The Screen Savers' used to be a really good source for new tech stuff and info sharing. Anybody that was a member knows what I'm talking about. Now that TWC locked down on it, its just DVDs, pinups, and pop culture.
