Your password is more than just a key to your online account. If your password falls into the wrong hands, someone can easily impersonate you while online, sign your name to online service agreements or contracts, engage in transactions, or change your account information.
Your Yahoo! ID and password are confidential information. A Yahoo! employee will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email message. Do not respond to any message that asks for your password.
A hacking program would still be lurking in your system. Try reformatting your hard driven and install all your internet protectors before going online.
Change your password regularly.
If you're doing these precautions already yet some people manage to go past your security. . . I'm certain that it's an inside job. Someone who has direct access to your PC might be "planting" these hacking softwares directly - like Keyloggers, etc.
Don't only change your password, but change it to something with symbols.
To help you remember it easily, try and substitute letters for similar symbols.
For example: M3d!c@t3d.
95% of password crackers, work with letters (and words), in an attempt to find a word that matches your password, or part of. By using symbols, you're making cracking your password, no easy task.
