Shared photos show that they're larger but how?

Question:
Example: below the photo and title, there's the line of: Uploaded DD-MMM-YYYY, Full size: 1600x1200 pixels. Is it possible to see that larger file as a public viewer or are we stuck to a sized-down version? Being on a 1920x1200 screen, 480x360 isn't much of an image.

Answer:
Hi, the indicated information is for us to see the uploaded original full size which can help us to know what is the maximun print out size. Currently It is not possible for us to use yahoo to view the original full size.

Below are some information that may help you to understand better.

After you upload digital photos to your account, Yahoo! Photos maintains three sizes of each photo. One is a thumbnail size (approx. 90x60 pixels) which you'll see on the covers of your albums as well as when you view all the photos within an album. Yahoo also store a medium size version (approx. 480x360) which is displayed when you view an individual photo or a slideshow of your album. Lastly, Yahoo maintain a full-size version (high resolution) version of your photos which are used to produce any prints or photo merchandise that you may order. This full size version is not made available for display. If you are a subscriber of SBC Yahoo! or BT Yahoo! (UK only) you also have the ability to download your full-size versions to your computer's hard drive and then you are able to view the full size using the downloaded photo.

God Bless
