I need honest feedback on the following business idea.?

Question:
I would like to teach live in-person game programming and graphic development classes to teens not yet in college (ages 13-18). For example, one of the classes might be "Intro to game development in Flash - Platform" and would demonstrate the basics of platform game design and development such as collision detection, moving on the screen, scoring, etc... Prior to taking such a class, you would have to have a basic programming experience or you could take our Intro to Programming class which would use a version of BASIC or KPL(Kids Programming Langauage) to understand code structure, loops, conditionals, etc.)

These classes will last about 3 hours and at the end you will have a working program that you have modified using your new skill set and will even have an option to share your creation by uploadng it to our website. I expect to charge approximately ($35-50) per class depending on location and would like to have a class

Answer:
I think it would be hard to find enough business to make it worth your while durring the school year.
1) 3hr time slots are diffucult for that age group unless this is a summer thing.
2) They won't have the nearly the same level of computer or programming education let alone computer education making it hard to get a lot done in a class room situation.

I could see a 1 or 2week computer summer camp followed by basic programming followed by game programming...
Let me give you honest answer. If you have business idea (and all the confidence) start it do not wait for anyone feedback. Not all the big businesspersons in the world ever waited for feedback. If Bill gates just waited like that then still we were using OS/2 today, IMPO. So just do it! All the best for you business :)
sounds like a good idea. it would give some of our youth some incetive. great idea!!
