What camera is best for me?
Question:
I like digital cameras with VERY big LCD screens try not to go over 230$ Most of my pictures will not be printed just shared oon the internet
Answer:
Canon SD600. It's a very small and compact camera with a very large lcd screen. 6-megapixels and does high resolution video too. It's a very highly rated and currently selling on the web for under $230. In fact, on www.newegg.com it is selling for about $210 and comes with free 1GB SD Card. The link is below, just click on it to see the camera deal. Trust me on this one, Canon makes awesome digital cameras. This camera used to be like $350. Good luck!

Try bidding on ebay. A digital camera with 5MBPS resolution should be enough for most purposes
google.
I highly recommend the Kodak Easy Share Z740. Awesome zoom. Crisp, beautiful pictures. LCD screen is a very nice size. Lots of options for all different types of conditions. But my favorite part of all? It is SOOO easy to use. I took the manual out once (when I first bought it) and I never needed it again. It is a complete no brainer to use, yet is takes very professional looking pictures. The upload to your PC is also very easy. (On the other hand, I own a Sony mini cam and had to spend over an hour on the phone with their customer service department just to figure out how to reset the date!) You can buy this camera for under $200. I purchased mine through Amazon. PS - You can also take short video clips with it too. I rarely use this feature, but I have used it and it's great!
If you are only going to view it on the computer then any camera will do. But there will be an off chance you will take it on some outing and snap some pics and want to share it with people. So get something with 5mp with 3x optical zoom or more. Camera prices have gone down drastically for the past year so you can find lots of good cameras for less than $200. Don't just settle for no name cheapo brands, you get what you pay for. You in luck if you wait several more weeks then the holiday sales will be in place and sales will be everywhere. They will have promos where you can pick up free memory cards or free printers or great rebates when you purchase a camera. If you want something trusty and worthy then get brand named items. Good luck.
Check out the Canon Powershot A540. It's a great camera and the LCD is 2.5", which is pretty big. It's right at your budget point, but you will want to spend a few more dollars to get at least a 512 MB memory card. The one that comes with the camera doesn't hold very many pictures.

I think Canon brand is better for comsumer user.
You can get the right camera you want.
good luck.
You are in the price range where there is not much difference n the basics of the digital camera. Look for the one that you understand the best and don't have to use any special programs to download to computer. Anything over 3 mega pixel will give you very good quality.
Also find one that does not have to use a special memory card so you can buy the card you want to use and the size you can afford. 512 mega bites will hold a large amount of photos.
Many of the lower end of cameras will also take movies and with sound. The quality is not very good but good enough to be able to send over the net. Some place like youtube so people can see your handy work.
Shop around and find what you like.
