Can I use a crossover cable to do screen share?

Question:
I want to know can I do a screen share with a crossover cable. Like in the company, you don't want to use projector, then u connect other people's computers and share your screen in their computers?

Can I do that?
you can use VNC to see other peoples screens, you can buy cables to split VGA signals or if you just want to display on two screens use a dual head card
if the computers are running windows xp pro, xp pro has a remote desktop feature that lets you take control of another computer and see whats on the other screen. There are other software progs like pc anywherer that would let you do this.

If both computers are hooked up to the internet, then you dont neeed a cable from computer a to computer b. Just install the latest version of msn messenger on both machines. Log in with one user account on one machine, and then log into anothe account on the other machine. Open a chat dialog, and then click Options>Ask for remote assistance. Then click take control. Computer As desktop will become Computer Bs.

good luck
