My pic doesnt show in my messanger to my friends when talking?

Question: i have the box checked to share my pic to my friends in yahoo messanger...but.it shows up in my lower box where i type but doesnt show up on their screen, been to preferences and everything is checked to share pic,,,can someone help me please.ty

Answer:
i would try uninstalling yahoo messanger than installing it back.
