Exchange 2003 - How you do resolve corrupted recurring appointments on a shared calendar?

Question:
As of Thursday 12/14/06, we have had several Outlook users report that they could no longer open any recurring appointments on any shared calendar.---For example, UserA shares her calendar with UserB. UserA has a recurring appointment on her calendar. When user UserB attempts to double-click the appointment to open/view it, UserB encounters an error that reads: "Cannot read one instance of this recurring appointment. Close any open appointments and try again, or recreate the appointment." UserB does not have any open appointments on her screen. She has rebooted her machine, and still no resolution.---Our environment is MS Exchange Server 2003, and most clients using MS Outlook 2003. Again, this only appears to be happening with "shared calendars", and it is happening with ALL recurring appointments on those shared calendars. We are not doing any custon VB scripting or programming.---I have searched the net and found many folks having this same issue, but no answers have been provided.

Answer:
Is this a pubic calendar or a shared account?

Without doing any research it sounds like User B doesn't have correct permissions to the calendar.

Since User A created the appointment many they should delete and recreate it.

Since it's so widspread you may need to defrang the mailstore.
