How do i get my picture back on my IM once it goes blank?

@...at the main messenger window click messenger tab>preferences>display image thn check if the option 'enable display image' is selected or not ,if not select it then click the 'change default' button a new screen will come click 'share my pic' option thn click 'select' thn click ' browse' and select ur pic and click ok now ur display pic will be there
Thats happened to me before.Next time you sign in it will be there.Must be a glitch in there system.Close out and restart and see if it's there.Good luck.
Are you seeing a black box now in IM window?
This happens to me all the time and this is how I fix it.
1. re-download an OLD version of yahoo messenger OVER your current version (yes, over it) no need to un-install anything & you won't lose any date or info

2. After you download an older version (you regain a file or dll that got stuck for some reason) and caused your pic to turn black in the window.
3. Then you choose the IM pic you want again...IM yourself to see if it is in the window...then restart the PC
4. Next...go to the newest version of yahoo again and download it over the older version (no need to un install anything like people tell you to do) don't listen to them...listen to me...I KNOW what I am doing :)
