How do I clean my computer's screen?
Question:
Answer:
Do not use Windex on a laptop screen, as it contains ammonia. The best solution is to purchase some screen cleaning clothes from the store (wal-mart, circuit city, best buy), as they won't damage your screen or scuff it up.
Remember, laptop screens (LCD) are not the same as regular desktop screens (Cathode Ray Tube). Do not use regular cleaners on them!
use some screen cleanser.
Spray some windex on a cloth and wipe it down. It won't hurt your screen, as long as you don't spray directly onto it.
use glass cleaner
Go to your local retail store (Wal-Mart) and look for computer screen cleaner. It should be in the household cleaning items aisle.
Use a soft cloth and some screen cleanser.
There are many specialized products that are made for computer screens. You can find them at your nearest BestBuy, CompUSA, or other large computer store.
I, however, just use window cleaner (such as Windex). If you do this, do not spray the cleaner directly onto the screen. Instead, moisten a paper towel, and use that to clean the screen.
I heard using the same sort of cloths that one uses for cleaning eye glasses is best. They are designed not to leave scratches, and they don't leave fluff behind either.
Never Put Liquid on a Screen(Spray or Mist!) Spray cleaning Alcohol onto a Lint free cloth(Babies nappies or micro Fiber Clothes are Best)
To make sure you have ALL the Screen clean try Breathing and Wipe in circular direction to remove any excess debris!
Mix 1 part Rubbing Alcohol to 3 parts water, this will be your cleaning solution. Apply a small ammount to washcloth and apply in circular motion to monitor, not to rough though. Wipe clean with paper towel. You might need to do this a few times if your monitor is really dirty. Good luck!

this is the site on how to clean anything on a pc
Usually any store that sells office supplies(office mx, Office Depot etc.) will carry a solution and sometimes it comes with a cloth... but if it doesn't then buy a microfiber cloth and spray the solution on the cloth then wipe clean and dry. Never use a paper towel... it will leave icky little fibers on the screen and could scratch it. Hope this helps! :]
