Why wont my lap top play pc games?

The graphics chip can't support the graphics requirement for the game and is hard soldered onto the motherboard so it cant be replaced. Time to replace this laptop with a high-end machine if you want to play games. A couple of grand at least. Otherwise, upgrade the graphics card on the desktop for practically nothing and have some fun.
i have the same problem when i tried to install need for speed carbon.. but my problem is the graphic card.. it cannot support it.. my graphic card is 128 agp ati.. maybe because the agp.. or maybe the directx.. sorry if this cant help..
I had a simular problem on my desktop in the end I contacted Electronic Arts who told me it was because my system has an intregated graphics card which is not compatable,when I removed the case cover I found there was no graphics slot to put a new card into, though i can play very old simple games. I would contact your customer services dept. for you laptop manufacturer and see if you can put a new graphics card in.Good luck.
